Comprehensive insurance
It covers damage to your car even if the accident is your fault, plus the compulsory third-party liability. The leasing company takes it out and it is included in the payment.
With car leasing you pay one monthly amount and forget about almost everything else. But “almost” matters: here is what the payment covers, what it never covers and what to check to really compare two offers.
We count the 159 offers for individuals currently in the catalogue. The figures update themselves when the offers change.

The part of each own-damage claim you would pay yourself. “No excess” means you pay nothing for it. Each car page shows the excess of its offer.
The services set by the manufacturer and the replacement of parts that wear out, at the workshops the leasing company indicates.
Replacing worn tyres. How many, and on what terms, is set by each offer's contract.
The roadworthiness test, whenever the car is due during the contract.
The car's road tax. And in the payment for individuals, VAT as well: payments for self-employed people and companies are shown without VAT.
Towing and help if the car breaks down, on the leasing company's terms.
A car while yours is in the workshop. Only when the offer says so: we don't take it for granted.
Two similar payments can hide very different terms. Before deciding, check these six things in both offers:
Is VAT included in the payment, or added on top?
Is there anything to pay at the start?
How much is held until you return the car?
How much would you pay for each claim?
How many months and how many kilometres a year? A lower payment with fewer kilometres can end up costing more.
How much does each kilometre above the agreed mileage cost?
Fuel or charging, tolls, parking, fines and kilometres above those agreed. Everything else depends on each offer, and each car page shows what its offer includes.
They are paid at the end of the contract, at the price per kilometre set in the offer. If you think you'll need more, choose a combination with more kilometres a year from the start: it usually works out better.
Payments for individuals are shown with VAT, because that is what you will pay. Payments for self-employed people and companies are shown without VAT, because they can usually deduct it. We say which on every payment.
